Team members with weak C.O.R.E. tend to under produce. There are a few reasons for this including external reasons such as poor leadership and flawed systems and procedures that they’re working with. There are is internal reasons as well which make up C.O.R.E. or coachable, open, respectful and excepting of responsibility. A coachable person will listen with an open mind. An open person won’t hide any issues they’re facing. A respectful worker will give respect at a base level. Finally, a worker who excepts responsibility gives them freedom from excuses.
